While you are chatting, emailing, working on your myspace page or doing research, why not check out the selection of materials right at your finger tips. You can find science fiction, fantasy, manga, magazines, teen angst novels, series, and graphic novels, and more. You can use the Pioneer OWWL catalog at owwl.org to find thousands more items.Don't forget you will need a permission sheet signed by a parent or guardian to use the Internet, and your or your parents current identification to sign up for a library card.

Have a Safe New Year


Something to do over Christmas vacation would be nice.

Warsaw Public Library is offering two safety workshops for children ages 10-15 on Tuesday December 28th. We are pleased to have EPIC (Every Person Influences Children) Trainings instructors coming to offer First Aid and Internet Safety classes free of charge to you.

Noon-1:30 First Aid

For kids 8 to 15
Learn basic First Aid. Learn how to reconize respond to injuries and sudden illnesses, and who to call in an emergency. Each participant will receive a certificate at the end of the class.

1:45-3:15 Surfing Safely

For kids 10 to 15
Learn interactively to be safer on the Internet. Keep your Identity safe, cyber bullying and more.
